A home shaped by filtered light, natural materials and the quiet presence of the landscape.
DESIGNED FROM THE OUTSIDE IN
The landscape becomes part of the interior rather than simply a view beyond it. Filtered daylight, tropical greenery and the changing tones of the water influence the atmosphere of each room, creating a residence that feels naturally connected to its surroundings. Warm walnut, tactile stone, soft leather and quiet neutral fabrics were selected to reinforce that sense of permanence and ease.
Rather than relying on contrast or decoration, the design is built through layers of texture, proportion and light. Architectural millwork creates rhythm throughout the home, while stone surfaces introduce a more organic character. The result is warm and grounded, sophisticated without ever feeling overly composed.
A QUIETER WAY OF LIVING
Throughout the residence, spaces are designed to feel open yet intimate, allowing daily life to move naturally between moments of gathering and retreat. The kitchen, dining and living areas maintain a visual connection to one another while preserving their individual character through subtle shifts in material, scale and lighting.
Details are intentionally restrained. Leather softens the furniture and architectural elements, wood brings depth and warmth, and textured stone catches the changing light throughout the day. Integrated lighting is used to reveal surfaces rather than decorate them. Nothing is meant to demand attention on its own; the experience comes from the way every element works quietly together.
Stone is left expressive. Wood brings depth and rhythm. Soft upholstery balances the architecture. Nothing competes for attention; each material is allowed to be felt.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
